Paint-out at the Farm at South Mountain- Saturday, April 24th -anytime all day
Here is your last chance to paint in the Valley before the heat sets in! You are all invited to come down and paint at the Farm at South Mountain on 32nd St. between Southern & Baseline. There are rows of flowers in bloom, colorful vegetables, a farmers market set up, two outdoor restaurants for breakfast and lunch and pecan trees budding out for spring. Parking in on the east side of 32nd St. so pack your gear to carry it into the property.  You can also park on 30th St. on the west side of the property and walk in on that side. Check out the Cottage for hand made goods for sale and also as a subject to paint. Please do not set up in the rows of the garden, in any pathways that may block visitors or near the wedding tents-(yes that has happened).  If you come early stop at the Morning Glory outdoor cafe on the west end of the property, then pick up a picnic lunch at the Farm Kitchen by the picnic tables on the east end near 32nd st.  Barbara Schoepf and Toni Perrin will be there to answer questions about painting and can offer advice and help. This is a good opportunity for both the novice and pro plein air painters.

APAP Members Annual Meeting & Pot luck & Paint at the Donahue ranch in Cornville.
Grab your paints for our annual get together in Cornville. Barbara Donahue has graciously offered her home as our meeting place. With old cottonwood, open ranch land, old barns, horses and just one of the prettiest locations to paint you will be sure to find subject matter that you like.  Yes, spouses are welcome, and bring along your folding chairs.    This is the time for you new and old members to learn about what we have planned for the future and to meet the APAP officers and Board Members. There will be a formal meeting following lunch which will contain a question and answer period regarding APAP policies and procedures such as our Jury process, judging shows and other things that can occasionally be controversial.  It is our policy to be an open and transparent organization working for the betterment of the entire membership.  donahueart@cableone.net
