Best of Show Award for 2011 Glendale Plein Air Competition was won by R Bedard

Glendale’s 2012 Plein Air Competition at Glendale Chocolate Affaire:The City of Glendale’s Public Art Program in conjunction with Special Events, will sponsor the 2012 Plein Air Painting Event at the Glendale Chocolate Affaire. It will be held during the popular festival in downtown Glendale, on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. We invite artists to participate. For more information, CLICK HERE.

Congratulations to Arizona Plein Air Painters whose work was selected to be included in our Southwest Art advertisement for the 2012 Members Juried Show in March/April:  Robert Dalegowski, David Haskell, Jeff Love, and Jerry Pond. As Best of Show winner for APAP’s 2011 Member Show in Sedona, Scott Brems’ painting, “Lookout Over Chiricahua” will be featured in the ad as well. The ad will appear in the April issue of Southwest Art, due out in mid-March.

If you’re still interested in advertising in Southwest Art for that issue, the page immediately following the APAP Ad will showcase Arizona artists, with preference given to APAP artists.
