There are plenty of hotels and restaurants not far from the Arboretum. Make a weekend of it, and enjoy the weather and scenery. See you there!

IMPORTANT: Additional A.P.A.P Policies and Procedures for this and future paint-outs that include the opportunity to show and sell your work:

Following a number of questions and requests for special accomodations, we've found it necessary to establish standardized rules for this and future shows.  Beginning with the Plein Air Paint-out at the Flagstaff Arboretum, this is the new standard policy & procedure for paint-outs followed by shows/sales:

On the first day of painting:
1. Register your blank canvas or panel with me when you arrive. I will date and initial each one.
2. Paint to your heart's content.
3. At the end of the day, bring your finished, properly framed work(s) to me.
4. Fill out the forms (hold harmless, back label, and small show label).
5. Attach the back label and your business card (optional) to the back of each painting. I will have tape available.
6. Turn in your artwork.

If you want to paint on unfinished pieces the next day, you will leave them with me.

When you return the next day, your work will be returned to you. It will be dated and initialed by me a second time.

At the end of the event, turn your work in by the deadline.

If you choose to bring and finish a previously started plein air painting, be my guest. However that painting will not be eligible for this event show and sale.

Eligibility to show and sell your work.
1. You must be a current member of A.P.A.P.
2. Your painting must have been started and completed en plein air (outdoors) during the A.P.A.P event hours.

You're welcome to come paint with us and see if APAP is the kind of club you'd like to be involved in. Make friends. Have a great day!

If you join us, you will be eligible for future shows and sales.

I look forward to seeing everyone and know that some really good paintings are going to emerge.

Toni Perrin, Paint-Out Coordinator
Courtesty, Dawn Sutherland
